It only shows the ranking based on “public” things, such as wall posts and likes and comments and tags and shit like that. It doesnt actually mean how much people look at ur profile or u on someone elses. so if u are writing on someones wall alot, thats the info that that app shows.

well i don’t really get it, because there are people on my top stalkers who im sure have never written on my wall, tagged me, commented, or liked something of me…i think the makers of the application just SAY thats what the ’stalker rank’ is all about, while it actually does have to do with their visits to your profile.

I don’t know about that. I just think the way they “compute” the top fans is just not perfect. I have seen a statement from Facebook stating that they have made it technically impossible to track the number of profile views, so I find it highly unlikely that they have figured out a way to do it. They did rename their application to be “Fan Check” though… and we haven’t found out why yet.
